Get ready for one amazing dog! This cute girl is Wags, and if your looking for an adventurous and fun dog, she is the one for you! Wags appears to be a Shepherd/Beagle mix around one year old. She was brought to a shelter when she and her siblings were found running on a highway. She is exuberant and would be a great fit for a family with school-age children who can play with her, or with someone who has as much of energy as she does. Wags loves to play fetch, loves toys and go get a kiddie pool - Wags loves to swim...this girl does it all! With all her energy, she will need a home that has a fenced-in yard. Wags is super friendly, she's good with other dogs and even cats. Wags will need to be house trained and crate trained. She is leash trained and she's working on "sit"! We encourage basic obedience training for all our dogs, as it not only helps with good manners but it also helps to form a lasting bond between the dog and humans in the family. The more time and energy you invest in your dog now, the more likely you will have a great family companion who is welcome at family gatherings and in public for many years to come. Once trained, Wags will make a great pal to go hiking or running with, or even take to the beach.
If you have the energy to keep up with Wags, please fill out an application...Get ready for a lot of fun!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
