This absolutely gorgeous girl with the big smile is Noelle!
Noelle appears to be a Border Collie mix about 2 years old. And she's smiling big because she's oh-so ready to get out there and find her forever home! She's already house trained, crate trained, she walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, loves toys and loves to play a rousing game of fetch. And this beauty is smart - she knows some basic commands: sit, down, shake and roll over! We do recommend an obedience course for all our dogs because it not only helps the dog grow into a well-mannered, socialized adult who's welcome wherever you go, but it helps to foster that all important bond between the dog and her human family. Noelle would make a wonderful family dog - she's great with other dogs, but she would probably not make a good playmate for another dog as she is playful but not enough to help keep another dog company and busy. Noelle is good with cats and kids of all ages. She is a quiet girl that rarely barks. She is non-destructive, anxious or nervous, the only bad habit she has is that she likes to jump on people to greet them. She's affectionate, even-tempered and gentle, and was a favorite at the kill shelter she ended up in. The shelter couldn't bear to euthanize her when space got tight so they called a local rescue to please come get her. Not only was that a stroke of luck for Noelle, but for us, too! She's just a honey of a girl!  She goes outside about 4 times a day for about 15 minutes at a time. While a yard would be ideal for Noelle to play fetch in, if that's not possible then plenty of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play at the dog park will do just fine. At some point in Noelle's short life, she was a mom and maybe that's why she's so calm and sweet.
