If you didn't believe in love at first sight before, we bet you do now! This little one is Oliver Squeak, a Beagle mix that was born on 4/20/2016. Oliver and Pip Squeak's mom was turned into a shelter pregnant, and both puppies were born while in foster care. Both are now ready to find their fur-ever homes where they will live happily ever after. Oliver is a delightful young man with the sweetest temperament. He is a tad more reserved than his siblings, but not by any means shy or timid. He loves to romp and play and is not intimidated by strangers - two-legged or four-legged - when they visit him in his familiar surroundings. His tendency to be a shade on the reserved side is only slightly evident when he's placed in new surroundings, such as the vet's office or the Humane Society building. When he's placed in a completely new environment, he doesn't shiver, shake, bark or exhibit any fear biting, it just takes him a little longer than his siblings to become completely comfortable. He is not yet crate trained, leash trained, or house trained, but he is a smart pup and will catch on before you know it. Oliver is good with kids, other dogs and will probably be okay with cats. He has seen one out the window, and he didn't bark or growl. He is good in the car and barks some. We would like to see Oliver attend obedience training, as it is a great way to bond with him and it will help him become a well mannered and well behaved dog. The more time and energy you invest in him now, the more likely he will be a great family companion who will be welcomed at family gatherings and in the public for many years to come. Being a Beagle mix, Oliver would love to have a fenced-in yard, so he can do what Beagles do best - running with his nose to the ground smelling everything and anything he can.
