If you are looking for an amazing, intelligent and gentle companion then Olive is the one for you! Olive looks to be a Lab/Shepherd mix that is around 2 years old. With Olive, you are getting a sweet girl that loves to play and isn't rough, given her size. She is great with other dogs as she will back off if the other dogs aren't keen on play. She gets along with her foster mom's cat, she doesn't chase or get into the litter box. She has been around children that are over 10 years old and she is always completely calm but playful. She doesn't jump on any guest, she will patiently wait to be petted. Olive will enter her crate without fuss, and does not whine or bark while she is crated. Since she's been in foster care, she has not had any house training accidents. Olive catches on quickly, she already knows "sit" and "shake". When Olive's foster mom is home, she will mostly sleep on the couch. She doesn't get into any trouble! A fenced in yard would be great for Olive, if not she will need other ways of getting off leash play and exercise, such as at a dog park. Olive was reported to be an escape artist in her former home, but her foster mom has not observed this while she has been in foster care. She may have done it because she was bored or lonely, she has never tried to find her way out of her foster mom's fenced in yard. Olive will make a special addition to any family who is looking for a true best friend. If you would like to give Olive the home and love she deserves, please fill out an application, you will be glad you did!

**Additional info you should know -  For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label.   Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption.  There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
