This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Absolutely adorable doesn't begin to describe the Shag litter! Here we have two boys and two girls who appear to be a Spaniel/Terrier mix about 5 months old. All have fringed ears, are super cute and LOVE attention! They were dumped at a farm and the farmer was kind enough to keep them until room opened up at the local southern shelter. Being puppies they will need to be house trained, crate trained and learn how to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend obedience training with all our dogs, but especially puppies. These classes not only offer an opportunity for socialization, confidence building and learning commands, but helps to promote that all-important bond between the pup and his or her human family. A well-mannered obedient dog is sure to be welcomed most anywhere you take them. The Shag puppies, though a bit shy, are very interested in new people and will come forward when their kennel is approached. They are playful, love toys, affectionate, eager to please, even-tempered and gentle. They're also quiet little pups! Puppies are a lot of work. They take lots of time, energy and patience. Though a fenced yard is ideal so that a puppy can run and play safely, if they get daily leash walks and off-leash play time with plenty of opportunity for mental stimulation, a yard is not absolutely necessary.These puppies are fine with dogs and kids of all sizes and ages - they haven't been kitty-tested as of yet.
This little cutie-patootie is Stan Lee Shag! He's all black with curly hair. Stan's a little more laid back than his sister Christina and he's puppy-goofy!
