This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. We are so happy to introduce Chelsea, an adorable 5 month old terrier mix. Found as a stray in Mississippi, she was brought to the shelter by a college student when a neighbor threatened to shoot her for getting into the trash. Those days are behind you now, Chelsea - you are headed toward a wonderful new life!! Chelsea is an extremely friendly and high energy pup who loves kids, adults, dogs, and cats. She would love to be part of an active family. She does require a home with a fenced-in yard and is a bit of an escape artist - she learned how to climb fences during her time "on the streets"! Chelsea is crate trained and leash trained, and is working on her house training. Like all puppies she would benefit from obedience classes to help her learn good house manners and socialization. The classes are also a great way to get to know and bond with your newest family member! Well - will Chelsea "climb" into your heart and get the loving home she deserves?? **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
