Hey there nice person...Where have you been my whole life? My name is Sammy and I have been looking for someone just like you! Not to toot my own horn or anything, but you are going to love everything about me! Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born around the middle of October 2016 and I appear to be a German Shepherd mix. Being a mix breed it's hard to say how big I will be as an adult, but by the looks of me now, I will say I will most likely will be medium to large in size.  I am very friendly and love people and although I haven't met any kids yet I think I will be great with them too. I have been in foster care with other dogs from 6 months old to seniors and I get along well with all of them. In fact, I would be a great little brother for a lonely dog that is looking to add some fun to their life, as I do have medium to high energy. A home with a yard would be so much fun, but if not I will need to be taken for lots of walks and taken somewhere safe where I can run off-leash so I can burn off my energy. My new family has to understand that I may be cute, but I'm going to be a lot of work. I will make messes and mistakes along the way and I do have some unacceptable manners like jumping on people, chewing on inappropiate items - you know puppy antics. This maybe cute now, but it won't be when I'm much bigger. We will need to take obedience classes together, so we can learn everything that we need to know to make me a well mannered canine citizen. I am in progress of crate training, leash training and I'm doing well with house training by using a doggy door. So far when I go for rides in a car I get car sick, but that may just be a puppy thing and I may grow out of it. If not, ask my vet he/she will help with that. I love to cuddle up with people, but I also love my own doggy bed. So that pretty much sums me up. Do you love me? If so please fill out an application and say  that Sammy sent you!
