Weight: 38 lbs This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Miss Maggie!
Maggie is an outgoing girl who appears to be an American Bulldog/Terrier mix around a year old. She is very playful with other dogs, happy to meet children and dog-friendly cats, but can be a little much for shy, timid or young children, or timid cats. She just ADORES other dogs, and she wants to be friends with every dog she meets. She would do best with another playful (rough play) doggie sibling. Maggie is leash trained and crate trained. She is an energetic, happy dog, but she does have an off switch - though she can play for hours with another dog. Basic group training classes are recommended for her to help her learn commands as well as build that fur-ever bond with her new family. Busy feeders and toys would be great for her, too, to help keep her brain stimulated. She loves being with people, and is very attentive to her humans. A big fenced yard would be great for a gal like Maggie, but if that's not an option she will need lots of walks and visits to a dog park for a chance to play off-leash. She may never know (or maybe she does) how lucky she is, as our southern partners pulled her from a kill shelter right before the day she was to be euthanized. Many "paw-fect" dogs like Maggie never get a second chance. Fill out an application today 'cause all she is waiting for is you!
