Katie appears to be a year old Coonhound/Lab mix. She's not sure how she ended up in an Arkansas rescue, but she's bought a bus ticket, packed her suitcase, and is ready to head north to find her forever family with the help of SOS! You're in the right place now, Katie! She has beautiful red and black coloring and the sweetest face...look at those eyes! She is a smart, affectionate, friendly pup who loves adults, kids, and dogs, but no cats, please, as she is NOT a fan! Katie does not require a yard but like all pups will need plenty of daily exercise. This playful pup loves to "talk" and thinks she is a lap dog...don't tell her that she is almost 50 pounds! She is crate trained and is working hard on her house training and leash training. We recommend obedience training with all pups to teach them good house manners and socialization - the classes are also a great way to bond with your newest family member. What do you say!
