Meet quiet, sweet Woozle!
She's a big girl, but not at all the guard-dog type - she's too friendly for that! She appears to be an Italian Mastiff/Cane Corso mix about a year old. She's also pretty perfect: house trained, crate trained, walks on a leash, good in the car, calm, affectionate and gentle. Woozle may bark some if other resident dogs bark when someone knocks on the door. Just tell her, "shhh" and she'll be wagging her tail, a little shy when they first come into the house, but friendly. She's fine with other dogs, with kitty cats and due to her size, kids 10 years old and older. Though Woozle doesn’t necessarily require a fenced yard, she's accustomed to getting at least three daily walks. Opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park would be a great treat. A tired dog is a good dog! Dogs of all ages also benefit from mental stimulation – think puzzle toys and games. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and her human family. It’s lots of fun, too! A well-mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed most anywhere you take her. Woozle was picked up as a stray and though we can't be sure why, she appears to be afraid of water, rain and syringes with liquid near her mouth. If she's outside and it starts to rain she wants to go inside immediately! She's playful and likes toys; we don't know if she likes to play fetch - maybe her new people could teach her.
