Calling all New Jersey Housewives fans!
Meet the NJH Solis litter! We have 3 boys and 5 girls, and they are each named after a character in the reality tv series, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," which airs on Bravo. These gorgeous puppies have a registered German Shepherd Dog for a mom (Iris) and a friendly neighborhood-roaming (allowed by his owner) Chocolate Lab mix for a dad - their photos don't do them justice. Make sure you take a peek at the "milk-induced coma" photo of the litter - precious!!! They are about 2.5 months old and will most likely be large dogs when fully grown.

Here we have Jacqueline! She's mostly black with tan legs and feet, tan and white on her chest, some tan on her face, and the edges of her ears - very Shepherd looking. Being puppies theses sweetie pies have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and her human family. It’s lots of fun, too! A well-mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed most anywhere you take her. Though a fenced yard is an ideal place for your puppy to romp and play safely, if that’s not an option then lots of daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park is the next best thing. A tired dog is a good dog! Dogs of all ages also benefit from mental stimulation – think puzzle toys and games. Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing them with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy - and it’s totally worth it!

**Additional info you should know -  For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label.   Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption.  There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
