"Secret Agent" Parker is a man of mystery! Why was he wandering in the city park for two or three days? How did he end up in the shelter in Arkansas? He's not talking, but we're sure it's quite a story! Parker appears to be a Shepherd/Hound mix about 9 months old. Small details don't matter to Parker, and soon we will have even more information on him. For now we know the important stuff - this laid back hipster is an incredibly sweet, friendly, affectionate, happy dog who loves everyone and everything (he hasn't been introduced to kitty cats yet). This is what the people who've met him say about him, "Parker has an adventurous spirit. He would do great meeting new people and visiting new places or with a household of kids and joy. Just bring it on and he will adapt!" Parker does not need a fenced-in yard but does need plenty of daily exercise. He's currently working on his leash training and he is crate trained. He will need to be house trained. Like all dogs he would benefit from obedience classes to teach him good house manners. He already knows "sit" and is a smart feller so learning more should be a breeze. The classes are fun and are a great way to get to know your new family member! He's very social and has such an outgoing personality that he was one of the dog's chosen to attend a Trivia Night fundraiser and often goes on other "field trips." He can get to barking some, but hey - if you got something to say, Parker feels you should say it. And if he had opposable thumbs he would type this himself, "I am one great dog and I'm waiting for you! Parker Out!"

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
