This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Meet Jacob Twilight...he is looking for a neck (fingers, toes, or whatever you have to offer her) to nibble on! He is one of the three Twilight puppies who were picked up as litter mates and taken to a shelter, however we think his sister Bella may be from a different litter and is about 6 weeks older than Alice and Jacob. Jacob is sweet and loves to give kisses. This dark handsome boy appears to be a Lab mix with a moderate energy level. He is a pup that is always up for action...whether it's playing with his toys, chewing a water bottle, digging, playing  tug-of-war, running outside, or playing chase with another dog. If it's fun Jacob is all over it! He is interested in new dogs, big or small, but he can get too hyper with the smaller ones. He can be a little shy at first, but it doesn't take him long to join in and be playful. He can also be a little shy when meeting new people or in new situations but he warms up quickly. He tends to warm up quicker with women than men, but he is improving every day. He i s fearful of young children and will try to avoid them. He has not had the opportunity to meet any cats as of yet. Jacob is not very vocal and is quiet during car rides. He is working on house training and is doing well. He keeps his crate clean but he still has some accidents when left to roam the house. He is intelligent and VERY treat motivated. He is responsive to commands and corrections and knows "sit" and "down." He is eager to please and eager to learn. We strongly recommend obedience training, especially when it comes to puppies. Jacob would love and flourish with formal obedience training. Since he loves the outdoors, he would really love a home with a fenced-in yard to run and play safely in. This would also be very helpful until he is leash trained. As with all puppies, Jacob will be a lot of work. It takes time, patience and lots of love to bring up a puppy, but it's also TOTALLY worth it! If you would like to give handsome Jacob a home, please fill out an application...he is waiting for you!
