This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. This oh-so-handsome dude is Sampson Boy! He appears to be a Rottweiler mix about 10 months old - and he's a big boy! He is house trained, rides well in the car, walks on a leash, and is fine in a crate. He's friendly and playful with kids, adults and other dogs. He has not been introduced to kitty cats yet. Though Sampson doesn't necessarily need a fenced yard, he'd love to have a yard to call his own. He's even-tempered and gentle, but he'll need help learning that jumping up on people is not polite, and with his size he could easily knock over a small child or a senior citizen. He's affectionate, but not a clingy lap dog. It will be important for him to attend obedience classes with his new people so they can learn cool stuff together and further their bond. He's smart, eager to please and obedient. A well-mannered dog is sure to be welcomed most anywhere you take him. Dogs of all ages also benefit from mental stimulation - think puzzle toys, busy feeders and games. Sampson’s a great dog and being young still, will need to learn some manners. He will settle down, and with plenty of walking, exercise and training he’ll be a super companion!
