This handsome boy appears to be a German Shepherd Dog mix that was born some time early this February. Nemo is a fun and very handsome puppy. He needs a family that is excited about and willing to teach him some good manners, since he will be a big boy once fully grown. He already knows "sit," and is working on "down" and "stay." He's very smart so he will learn any new tricks quickly. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes and this will be especially important for Nemo! It's a great way to not only learn commands together but also affords an opportunity for socialization, confidence building and is great for getting in some quality bonding time with you and your pup!
Right now, Nemo is too big and bouncy to go to a family with young kids, but with his friendly nature he could easily be in a home with older children.
He would do great in a very active family household - one that wants to take him on long hikes or runs, daily. He will need a lot of exercise, or maybe even a job. He'd be a great dog for agility training or some other sport that combines tiring his body out as well as brain stimulation. Busy feeders are also a great way to keep his mind occupied. He is house trained, crate trained and walks on a leash. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to romp and play in.
With his friendly personality, Nemo wins hearts everywhere he goes...and if you would like to give him a loving home, he is sure to win your heart in no time!
