Weight: 15 lbs (as of 11/19/17) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Ollie! Olie is just a puppy, he is approximately 4.5 months old and 15 pounds. He appears to be a Boston Terrier mix, and he has a very pretty fawn coat and bright eyes! And how cute are those ears? You can't miss them! Ollie does well with adults and children of all ages, and he likes other dogs as well! He has not been around any cats yet. He is also friendly when he meets new people. Ollie has got crate training and leash training down, and he is working on house training with his foster mom, but will need more work on that in his new home. He does not know any basic commands yet. Being just a puppy, Ollie has lots to learn! We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend basic obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it's lots of fun, too! It also provides opportunities for confidence building and socialization with other dogs. It will also help to strengthen the ever important bond between the dog and their new family. A well-mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed almost anywhere you take them! Ollie has a moderate energy level. He is very playful, he likes to play with toys and play fetch! Though a fenced yard is an ideal place for a puppy to romp and play safely, if that's not an option then lots of daily leash walks and opportunities for off leash play in a dog park is the next best thing. A tired dog is a good dog! Dogs of all ages benefit from mental stimulation - think puzzle toys and games! Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing them with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces! It takes a lot of time, energy, and patience to raise a puppy - and it is totally worth it! If you are ready to make the awesome commitment to bring up Ollie, put in an application today!
