Make way for royalty! William Prince is in the house!
This GORGEOUS boy appears to be Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix about 5 months old. William's coat is so soft and gorgeous with golden blonde undertones. He is a complete sweetheart - very gentle and friendly and not too rambunctious. He is interested in new experiences, toys and playing with other dogs, but is by no means hyper. Sometimes he likes to just sit back and watch the activity around him. William's tail is always wagging in a calm, happy way. He can be goofy in play and with toys, but also loves to cuddle and be held. He is great with other dogs, kids and even kitty cats. House training is in progress, and he is pee-pad trained; he's crate trained and walks on a leash. He loves his treats and will learn for treats, so obedience class should be lots of fun! Considering his breed mix, he would most likely love advanced obedience, too, such as agility or nosework, but since he is since a calm puppy, he might also enjoy being a couch potato at times. Puzzle toys and games are great tools for any dog for mental exercise. Though a fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your pup to run and play, if that's not an option then daily leash walks with opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park or at doggie daycare should help with his exercise needs. William enjoys going places (he ride fines in the crated in the car) and meeting new people. He's affectionate and loves to cuddle - he truly is THE sweetest little guy ever, a super-snuggler and wants LOTS of love.
William isn't looking for a palace - just a loving forever home with toys and laps and treats, of course! Fill out an application today for William Prince and you'll be forever royally loved by this sweet boy!
The Prince Pups Backstory:Some unsavory folks brought these brothers to SOS's Mississippi partner and said that the conditions in the house were dangerous. You can see from his photos, though, that Harry is a happy puppy - playing, smiling and wagging that tail!
Medical Note: Upon physical exam, it was apparent that William had sustained a blunt trauma to his head. There is no immediate discomfort or further treatment needed, and our vet thinks future issues are very unlikely related to this injury. This should be known definitively in a few months once his growth plates finish developing. William still has a lump on his forehead between his eyes and our vet believes that this lump may recede overtime, but may always be there to some degree. Otherwise,he is a happy, active, mobile, smart young pup. You can see this deformity in his photos, along with the fact that he appears to be a happy, typical-acting puppy - playing, smiling and wagging that tail!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
