Some like their coffee with cream, some like it black.
The Coffee pups are one of each - and both are sweet! Star Coffee is the cream and sugar sister to straight black Buck Coffee. These pups appear to be a Labrador Retriever mix about 10 months old. Both of them are house trained and fine in a crate. Star is good walking on a leash, while Buck finds it quite a scary thing to do - his foster mom is helping him to overcome this. They're good with other dogs and playful with kitty cats, but can be redirected or distracted if kitty doesn't care to play. They don't currently reside with children, but have been playful with those they've met. They can be shy with new people, but are friendly once they warm up to them. They LOVE toys, playing fetch, running and playgroup. They also like playing tug-of-war with other dogs and like to bark while they play. Star also watchdog barks when someone unfamiliar comes around. They ride well loose in the car. They're obedient, eager to please and treat/toy motivated - a great combination to ace obedience classes! The classes will greatly benefit their socialization with new dogs and people, help them build their confidence, and you get to spend some quality bonding time with your new pup learning lots of cool stuff together.

 

Star Coffee is even-tempered and gentle, and is perfectly content to chill out when playtime's done. She's allowed on the furniture in her foster home, but she knows not everyone allows this. That's okay, she's looking for a furever family who'll just love her totally and help her become a well-mannered canine citizen. The Coffee Kids' Backstory: These pups were found as strays in Needville, Texas, and were fostered for 10 days during some below-freezing temperatures, then brought back to the shelter. They looked so sad being back there that our Texas rescue partner pulled them out and they're currently enjoying being fostered again.
