Nalla LOVES to play "catch-me-if-you-can" with other dogs!
She's also great in the car - calm and very well-behaved - and LOVES going places - roadtrip! Nalla appears to be a Pointer mix about 3 years old. She is working diligently on house training, crate training and she's learning to walk on a leash - being the eager girl she is, she does pull some and her caretaker is working on this with her. She hasn't been introduced to kitty cats, but she was fine with a puppy, and isn't too rough when she plays. Her former home had teenage children, but she hasn't been observed with younger ones. She's affectionate, even-tempered and gentle so would probably do just fine. She's eager to please and treat motivated, a great combination to ace obedience classes! Besides learning lots of cool stuff together, she'll get to continue her socialization with new dogs and people, build more confidence and spend some quality bonding time with you! A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your doggie to run and play, but if it's not an option then daily leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play at a dog park or doggie daycare will take care of her exercise needs. And to exercise her mind, think puzzle toys and games. After all this activity, Nalla will be perfectly happy to chill out with you, her forever people.

If you're looking for a sidekick to run errands with or accompany you on roadtrips, Nalla's your girl! Fill out an application today and her people will get back to you! Fun is in the air!

Nalla's Backstory: She belonged to a family who was going through divorce and was involved in a domestic abuse situation. She had not had any vetting prior to being admitted to the shelter. She's a sweet, playful girl who's eager to find her forever family.

**Additional info you should know -  For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label.   Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption.  There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
