Laid back in that hound sorta way, that's the Hillbilly Pups!
We had a whole passle of 'em for ya, but there's just one boy left, Jethro Bodine. He appears to be a Coonhound mix somewhere between 6 and 7 months old and will most likely be a big dog when fully grown (he's the biggest in the litter). Now, let me tell you about Jethro. Can you say PERFECT!?! He's an all 'round amazing pup! He's springy and goofy, and VERY well mannered! This boy is house trained, LOVES kids, dogs and even plays with his foster's cat! He enjoys swimming and playing with his canine and feline friends the most. A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your Hillbilly hound to run and play, but if it's not an option then daily leash walks with opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park is the next best thing. And to exercise and keep that puppy mind busy, think puzzle toys and games. We highly recommend that you attend obedience classes with your new furry family member so he can continue socialization with new dogs and humans, build up confidence and learn lots of cool stuff all while spending some quality bonding time with his new human(s)! Jethro is very food motivated and eager to please so training will be much easier. He learned "sit," "come," and "leave it" in just one week of being in his foster home! And although he's a hound, he only barks while he's in a crate and he has to potty.

 

The Hillbilly pups were dropped off at a Mississippi farm out in the country and the farmers brought them to our rescue partner. Now that all his siblings have found their forever homes, it's Jethro Bodine's turn and he would love to hear from you!
