This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Abby is one happy girl and very calm for a pup her age!
We think she may be a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix about 4 months old. She's gorgeous with her shiny black coat, white front legs and back feet, and all that white on her chest that goes up around her neck like a lacy collar. As with all puppies she'll need to continue working on learning where to potty, crates are great and walking on a leash is super fun. She's quiet except when she's playing, which she LOVES to do! Toys are on her list of must-haves: chew toys and squeaky toys, please. She's a gentle pup that does well in the car and loves going places! Attending obedience classes with her new forever human(s) is tops on her list. She's eager to please and toy motivated so class will be lots of fun. She also gets along great with other dogs, doesn't mind the resident kitties, and has been playful with the children she's met. Abby would love a fenced yard to play safely in, but if it's not an option then daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash at a dog park will keep her in tip-top shape. With her breed mix, keeping that canine mind busy with puzzle toys, games and some advanced training, like agility or nose work, will make her even happier!

 

Abby Happy was pulled from the Fort Bend Animal Shelter and though we don't know why she ended up there, we're the happy ones because we get to find her a forever home with lots of love, cuddles, toys, and maybe even a canine sibling to play with!
