Jack Petty is one GREAT PUPPY!
He is one of the boys in this litter of six. He's affectionate, outgoing, playful and your typical floppy puppy! He has leash walking and crate training under his belt, and house training is coming along famously. We think these pups are a Labrador Retriever mix about 5 months old. Someone dumped them at the city pound and the pound was going to euthanize them immediately. Fortunately a volunteer grabbed them and brought them to our Mississippi rescue partner! They are now SOS pups and we're happy to introduce them to you! Jack is treat and toy motivated, and eager to please so you'll have lots of fun at obedience classes as you learn lots of cool stuff and get to know each other better. His recall is quite good and he's working on "sit." He's happy and excited to ride in the car. A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your new puppy to run and play, but if that's not an option then daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash at a dog park will give him the exercise he needs as a growing boy. To exercise that canine mind, think puzzle toys and games. This laid back sweetheart loves cuddling! He's great with other dogs and kitty cats, but can be a little skittish with new people. He loves playing, and does well in new situations and with new experiences. He's sooo lovable and loves being in your lap! He's also very inquisitive about all those sounds outside, especially the birds! He's a really great puppy!
Bringing up a puppy can be a challenge and is a total commitment in time, patience and energy. We can tell you from experience though, that it's totally worth it! Has this handsome Petty dude stolen your heart? Fill out an application for Jack today and his people will be in touch!
