Ella Soul is seeking an active, yet somewhat quiet, forever home!
She and her brother Coltrane love playing with each other - and can be a bit rough, but they love getting out of their pen and playing in playgroup with all the other dogs, big and small. We're guessing these pups are a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix and as such are looking for an adopter who's willing to be committed to basic group training AND likely some private training, AND 2-4 hours of exercise and stimulation every day. They would also LOVE an adopter who's a strong leader and dog savvy, and would rather there weren't a lot of people or children coming and going. Ella's eager to learn all those big dog skills she'll need in life: house training, crate training, and walking on a leash (these last two are already in the works). She's also excited about attending obedience training with her new human(s) so she can continue working on her socialization, confidence building, and that wonderful canine/human bond she's heard about. She'd love a fenced yard to play in, but if that's not an option, then daily leash walks with chances to play off-leash in a dog park will do just fine. And to exercise that canine mind, think puzzle toys and games. Ella loves to play bitey-mouth, puppy-wrestle, and tug-of-war! Currently kitty cats are fun to chase, but she can be redirected and does respect corrections. A dog-savvy cat in the home would likely be fine. As for children, she was puppy-hyper and playful with those she's met.
