Age: 4 Months (as of 10/25/18)
Weight: 16.4 (as of 9/21/18)
Location: RI

This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Kaapo and Kalan Kangaroo might as well be identical twins!
The only way to tell these two Lab-like brothers apart is by their microchip numbers! Both puppies LOVE to play in the puppy wading pool, and run around in the yard playing with the other dogs and each other! They also LOVE human companionship and being petted! They're working on their big dog skills: house training, crate training and leash walking. They do jump up some, but they're also working on keeping "all four on the floor." They get along great with everybody - even the kitty cats! They don't chase them inside the house - outside they sometimes will give chase, but only in a playful way. They definitely enjoy children - littles should be watched because they do jump up. Being smart and eager to please, Kaapo will be lots of fun at puppy training classes! He already comes when his name is called and you clap your hands! He loves to play outside and currently plays in a fenced yard. While this is the ideal safe place for your puppy to play, if it's not an option then daily leash walks for business and adventure, with opportunities to play off-leash at a dog park, will work just fine. Don't forget that canine mind needs exercise, too - think puzzle toys and games.

The Kangaroo Kids Story: These two boys are part of a litter of seven puppies - all of whom were identical! The other five have already been adopted locally in Tennessee.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
