Sand Coast is one sweet puppy!
He is one of ten puppies in the Coast litter. He's calm and affectionate, and loves to play with toys and his brothers and sisters.

These gorgeous little fluff balls appear to be a Great Pyrenees mix, and so will most likely be large dogs when fully grown - maybe upwards of 80 lbs. Every one of them loves to snuggle and cuddle, and do well with kids, cats and other dogs - they love to play with the bigger dogs. They're very calm and like to be held, but also enjoy time outside to run around and play with toys. They are working diligently on their "big" dog skills: house training, crate training and walking on a leash (which they're still getting used to). A great way to get to know your new pup and do some bonding is puppy training classes! You get to learn cool stuff together and your pup gets to meet new dogs and build up some confidence. Though a fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your puppy to run and play, if that's not an option then daily leash walks for business and pleasure are a must - and a trip to a dog park to play off-leash is a fun outing! Don't forget that canine mind needs exercise, too - think puzzle toys and games.

Sand isn't looking for a fancy vacation island, all he wants is a place to call home and make his very own "sand castle." Fill out an application today and his people will be in touch! Better yet - come meet him in "person" at Always Adopt on November 3rd!

The Coast Kids' Story: In August of this year, a "pregnant as can be" Great Pyrenees stumbled upon one of the foster homes, on a very rural road, of our Mississippi rescue partner. The humans looked and looked, put up posters and posted her online, but no one came forward to claim her. Within days of walking down a dog-loving stranger's driveway, Momma gave birth to ten beautiful puppies.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
