Wembly is totally into cuddling!
She wants to have her face as close to you as possible and wants to be right up against you. She LOVES being held and is very snuggly. Wembly is one of four girls in the Fraggle Rock litter of five, and currently the smallest - by a couple of ounces. All these pups are extremely social and loving, and LOVE to play, chew, run and romp. They all need to learn those big dog skills: where to potty, crates are great, and leash walking means off for an adventure! We're guessing they're a Border Collie mix born around the end of October 2018. Because of their breed mix, they will need an adopter who will be dedicated to making sure his or her pup gets a minimum of 3 hours of structured exercise combined with mental stimulation every day. Border Collies are of the working dog class and as such need lots of structure - no free lunches for these pups! Daily "running around with the kids" and/or "yard time" will not be sufficient for them. Besides attending basic obedience classes, advanced training, like agility, would be an awesome activity for you and your new best friend.
Wembly will most likely be in the medium-sized range - her mom, Barnette, is typical of Border Collies at around 40 lbs. We've been told mom loves everyone and is very smart. Wembly, who's mostly white with some black markings, can't wait to find her forever human(s), get settled into a routine, and show you just how smart - and loving - she is! Fill out an application today and her people will be in touch soon!
The Fraggle Rock Puppies' Backstory: Their mom's owner surrendered the puppies to our Tennessee rescue partner saying she was no longer feeding them and wanted nothing to do with them.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
