Meet Ollie! Looking for an adult dog who is past all that puppy stuff? Ollie is your guy. He has a sweet and goofy demeanor that is bound to make you laugh. Have you seen that tongue?! Ollie is solidly housetrained and non destructive when left alone uncrated. He is not a fan of the crate but will just nap on the couch while you are away. Ollie has a few things on his wish list for his new home. First he would LOVE a fenced in yard where he can run around and play fetch to his heart's desire. He can be unsure when meeting new dogs so would do best as an only dog. Although he is very friendly with people he would prefer to live with adults or older kids. The activity of small kids can be overwhelming. He prefers more mature company who can talk to him about the weather and bird watching.
Though he's always ready for the next adventure, he also is not opposed to settling in for a good cuddle session. He and his new human(s) would have lots of fun with training - especially since he's eager to please and very treat motivated!
Ollie's backstory is that he was adopted by a very loving family as a young pup. Their family grew and Ollie became more and more stressed with living with small children. They made a difficult decision and put his needs first and surrendered him back to rescue so that he could live out his adult life in a calmer environment.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
