Koda Frannie is playful and interested in meeting new people and seeing new places.
He's not the first one of the litter to approach a stranger - he leaves that to her sister Kona and brother Rolly. Koda's one of the boys available in this litter of four who are getting ready to find their forever homes here in New England. We're thinking they're a blend of Labrador Retriever and Hound, born around the beginning of October. They're typical puppies needing to learn "big dog" skills: where to potty, crates are great (this is in the works), and leash walking mean adventure! Because they have lots of freedom to run and play in the shelter yard, they're still getting used to that leash walking stuff. They're great with other dogs, interested in kitties but can be redirected if kitty's not interested, and playful with children they've met.

Koda's excited to think that he'll have his very own forever human(s), and can't wait to go to puppy training classes! He'd love his own yard to run and play in, but daily leash walks for exercise, business and adventure will work, too - especially if he gets the chance to run off leash in a dog park! Frannie Pups' Backstory: Momma Frannie and her litter of four pups were pulled from a high kill shelter by our Mississippi rescue partner. One pup was going to be adopted locally by a previous adopter who has since decided not to. They are all now waiting to head north to "the land of responsible pet owners." Frannie looks to be a Hound mix, daddy is an unknown...
