Harley is your all 'round sweet boy!
His caretaker has said it's a joy to watch him play with the neighbor's grandchildren. He loves putting his nose to work in new places with so many new smells, and he loves taking long naps on the back deck. We're thinking this handsome pup is a gorgeous mix of Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever, born sometime in August of 2018. He will approach a new dog a bit nervously, but is submissive. He will track squirrels and cats intensely, and will bark at them so he would do best in a kitty-less home. He's working diligently on his house training, does okay on leash and has not had any crate training yet. He rides well in the car once he gets in and settled. He's pretty obedient for a puppy and will do well at puppy training classes, but be sure to bring high value treats as run-of-the-mill ones hold no motivation for him! Harley would love his own fenced yard, however daily leash walks for exercise, business and smell adventures will work, too. And if you need any excavation done, he's your boy!
Harley's always ready for an adventure, but is also into cuddling. He'll let you know when visitors come, and he'll be wanting help in perfecting his game of fetch. All in all, he's a sweet, typical puppy looking for his forever human(s) and a home to call his own. Can you help make Harley's dream come true? Fill out an application today and his people will get right back to you!
