Queenie Garden definitely wants to be your best friend if you have treats!
This super sweet, affectionate girl may seem a bit reserved at first with new people, but she quickly warms up and then wants her belly rubbed. She appears to be a Hound mix probably born sometime early in 2015. She has been a stray in an Arkansas neighborhood for about three years and is known to have had at least three litters of puppies - one of these litters became SOS puppies and they've all been adopted. Queenie roamed freely and spent time in the local mayor's office during the day - she had a special place under his desk. She's good with other dogs - always submissive, has been introduced to kitties and shows no desire to approach them, and is okay with kids, though she hasn't lived with any. She's currently working on "sit," is house trained and does well walking on a leash - sometimes she can be hesitant and scared. She'd love to go to obedience classes with her new human(s). She doesn't necessarily need a fenced yard - daily leash walks for exercise, business and pleasure will work just fine. To exercise that canine mind, think puzzle toys and games. She doesn't like loading up into the car, but once there she rides well.
