Bandit Hempstead loves toys and laptime!
This little sweetie would also love to find his forever home! He, his sister River, their mom and some other siblings were located under a house in Hempstead, Texas, where some kids were taunting them and throwing rocks at them. Our rescue partner was able to rescue Bandit and River, but the other pups couldn't be found - we think mama must've moved them. Bandit appears to be a Rottweiler mix born probably around the beginning of November 2018. Being just a pup, he's still working on house training and crate training - he hasn't started learning to walk on a leash yet. He's a playful boy who's also quite happy to chill out with you at times. Attending puppy training classes with his new human(s) is on his bucket list and though a fenced yard would be ideal, daily leash walks for exercise, business and adventure will work, too. Outings at a dog park to play off leash would be great! Puzzle toys and games will keep his canine mind busy and sharp.

Bandit gets along with other dogs; as of yet cats and kids are an unknown. Puppies take time, patience and commitment to help them grow into well-mannered canine companions, but Bandit wants you to know that if you adopt him, your world will be a much better place! Fill out an application today and someone will get right back to you!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
