This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Ian likes to steal water bottles off of low tables and give them to his doggie friends.
He's quite the clever little fellow - he's figured out how to open the latch on his crate door! He hasn't been destructive when he's gotten loose, he's more like Dora the Explorer. He looks to be a Pug mix born probably around the middle of August 2018. His house training is pretty well nailed down, he's still working on not pulling while on leash, and he hates his crate with a passion - probably the motivation for figuring out the latch! He may be a little too playful for kitties or younger children, but would do fine with older children. He's fine with dogs of all sizes. When his foster siblings show signs of not wanting to play, he does back off. He has two modes: on and off. Being a puppy he spends most of his time in the on mode, playing with everyone and everything! His off mode is cuddle time or when he's sleeping. Being such a little smarty-pants, he and his new human(s) should do well at puppy training classes! Though a fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your puppy to play, daily leash walks for exercise, business and adventure will work, too.

Ian's super psyched about finding his forever home and going on lots of adventures with his forever human(s)! Have you fallen in love with his adorable self? Fill out an application today and his people will get right back to you!

Ian's Backstory: He was found at an intersection on a very busy road. When a stranger stopped to rescue him, Ian jumped right in! While trying to locate his owner, they reached out to our Mississippi rescue partner for help. This little guy is just so friendly!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
