Say hello to Eeyore!
Eeyore was an owner surrender to our shelter. He is a spunky little hunk who has the cutest little ridge of fur down the back of his neck, hence how he got his name Eeyore. He plays well with other dogs his size and can be slightly vocal but the majority of time that is because he wants to be held. Other times you can find him in his playpen talking like he is singing a song or having a full-blown conversation with himself! But often times, that’s also because he wants to be held and is looking for attention. He can be a bit confused if you reach for him too quickly, which we think is because he's so small, so a more mature home with older children who will respect him and his size would be best.
Eeyore is a lovable little goofball who likes playing with his toys, going for walks, heading out on adventures in the car, and snuggling after a day of fun! He does well in a crate and on a leash, and he's still working on his house training, but we're confident he'll grasp these skills quickly. He's super smart, treat and toy motivated, respectful of humans, and very eager to please, which all add up to the qualities of a very trainable dog! This funny little guy can't wait to meet you and find his forever home - fill out an application today and get ready to fall in love with Eeyore!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
