Tabbie Turnip is sweet and playful!
She has a wrinkled forehead that gives her the look of always being worried. She is one of two girls in this litter of three puppies. The owner of their pregnant mom had too many dogs to care for and so surrendered her to our Arkansas rescue partner's shelter where these cutie patooties were born on January 6th, 2019. They look to be an adorable blend of Chihuahua and Terrier. Paper training is in progress, they're quiet in the crate, and learning to walk on leash is in their future. Puppy training classes are a wonderful way to get to know your pup better, build their confidence and social skills, and all while having fun learning cool stuff together! A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your puppy to run and play, but daily leash walks for exercise, business and adventure work, too. Like all puppies, these little squirts love to chew on whatever they can find, so plenty of appropriate chew toys will save your favorite slippers...maybe. Puzzle toys and games can keep their active canine minds busy, too. As tiny-breed dogs are often not a good fit for households with multiple and/or young children, the Turnip pups are looking for adopters without young children. They are fine with other dogs - kitty cats are still an unknown for them.
Tabbie is a pretty fawn color with lots of white - and there's a white strip that accents that wrinkled worried look of hers. We told her not to worry, that she'll be in her forever home before she knows it! How can anyone resist that absolutely adorable face? **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
