This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Ah! Sweet Melody...and PUPPIES!!! While mom Melody has already found her forever home, we have seven sweet puppies of hers who can't wait to find his or her own human(s)! Mom appears to be a Yellow Lab mix about 60 lbs. so most likely these puppies will be large dogs. They're typical pups who love to play, chew, sleep, bark, and play some more, so they've been a bit busy to start any training yet. Attending puppy training classes with his or her adopter is important to help your puppy gain confidence, work on social skills with other dogs and humans, and spend some quality bonding time with you - all while having fun learning cool stuff together! A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your new bff to romp and play (and maybe dig a little), but daily leash walks for exercise, business and exploration will work, too. To keep that active canine mind busy, think puzzle toys and games - to keep your favorite slippers safe, think lots of appropriate toys to chew on! Right now these tykes spend time only with each other and the adults and teens in their foster home so they haven't been exposed to other dogs, or to cats and kids yet. They're also little piglets who'll eat until they look like they could explode, so they'll need monitoring when eating. A slow feeder and small meals several times a day may be needed to curb this behavior.
Abigail Melody is one of two girls in this litter of seven. She's a beautiful red color with a cute, wrinkly face, and white on her chin and right front paw. She's sweet and somewhat shy - a goofy, playful girl who'd like nothing better than to cuddle up with her human(s) at the end of a busy day.
