Puppies aren't found in trees.
But we know you'll agree that these pups are the cutest little monkeys you'd ever want to see! Meet the Tree litter, eight adorable fluff-muffins just waiting to wriggle their way into your heart! They're typical playful puppies who have just begun training in "big dog" ways: paper training is in progress as well as crate training. Learning to walk on a leash is still in their future. We're thinking they're a Cattle Dog mix born sometime around the end of February 2019. They love squeaky toys and chewing on whatever their little teeth can find. They're each dreaming of attending puppy training classes with his or her new human(s). It's a great opportunity to work on social skills, gain confidence and deepen the pup/human bond that's so important - and all this while learning cool stuff together! A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your pup to play, but daily leash walks for business, exercise and adventure will work, too.
Willow is one of three girls and one of the black and white pups. She's so cute with her one black ear, and the opposite side of her face being black creates a yin-yang balanced look. She was the smallest pup in the beginning, and if someone was screaming, it was probably because Willow was biting his or her tail. She has since caught up to her siblings in weight and has really mellowed out. Has that sweet face made your heart go all melty? Fill out an application today and her people will get right back to you!
Tree Kids' Story: These pups were just dropped off in a box on the shelter porch of our Arkansas rescue partner. We're so happy to be able to bring them to you!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
