This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Bright-eyed and alert, Sparky Flame is one handsome dude! Like his sister Blu, he's good with kids, cats and dogs alike! The two siblings were dumped just after Christmas and though smart and social, they have predominantly lived outside, so house training and leash walking are still on their "to learn" list - crate training is in the works. We think they may be a Pointer mix born sometime mid-October 2018. They are definite candidates for training classes to teach manners and focus, but we think they would learn quickly. Sparky would do well with someone who could take him to work with them or has time to spend with him throughout the day - if that option is available. He will thrive with an adopter who will make him and his training a priority with regular daily exercise and mental stimulation. He'd love his own fenced yard to dig in (need any excavating?), but daily leash walks for exercise, business and adventure will work, too. Puzzle toys and games will keep his canine mind sharp and occupied.
Gentle and goofy, Sparky's not a crazy barker though he will bark at armadillos - which shouldn't be an issue here in New England. He loves toys, and especially balls. He rides calmly in the car and finds new places interesting so if you're in need of an errand buddy and road trip sidekick, Sparky's your boy!
