This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. And here in the O-K Corral...er, I mean Puppy Pen...we have the Outlaw Gang! Now a showdown by Calamity Jane! She's an explorer. She's always out to find new stuff to get into and is usually the last one to come inside. Usually her foster mom has to go find her when it's time to be kenneled. Being just a bit of a pup, she's still got a lot of learning to do, so she'll need to know where to potty, her crate is her chill place, and walking on leash means ADVENTURE! Attending basic obedience with her new human(s) is definitely on her agenda 'cause learning all that cool stuff is...well...cool! It also gives her a chance to further her social skills with other dogs and people, gain more confidence, and get in some quality bonding time with her hooman(s). While a fenced yard would be ideal, daily leash walks for exercise, business and fun will work just fine, too. And don't forget that canine mind needs exercising - think puzzle toys and games! Good quality chew toys will go a long way in preserving your favorite slippers...or not.
