This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Set a spell and listen to the story of the Joe Dirt pups. A country bumpkin sorta fella brought four puppies to the shelter of our Mississippi rescue partner in the back of his pickup truck. Even though the staff tried to convince him to hang on to the puppies until they could make room for them in the shelter, he refused to leave until they finally agreed to take them right then and there. The shelter staff dubbed him, "Joe Dirt." There are three girls, Brittney Daniel, Caroline Aaron and Jamie Presley; and one boy, David Spade. They look to be a Labrador Retriever mix born around the middle of May 2019 and we're thinking they could be on the large side when full grown. While they have yet to begin house training, crate training is in progress and they will each need continued work on the finer points of walking on leash. They're typical puppies loving to do typical puppy things: play, eat, play, sleep, play, cuddle, play...well, you get the picture. Each pup and her or his new human(s) are going to have so much fun at puppy training classes learning tricks, bonding and playing! They're fine with other dogs and with people of any size, and find kitties interesting.
Jamie Presley, the runt of the bunch, just loves to have a good time - and she'll party with the others or create her own party all by herself! She started out her photo shoot with a bandana on, but was playing so much she lost it. She's all black except for a white patch on her chest. She says, "No more riding in the back of a truck for me!
