This handsome hunk is Mack!
He's playful, smart and gentle. We are thinking he is a Lab and Mastiff mix. If you don’t know, Mastiffs are one of the largest dog breeds, and Labs are known to be "big puppies" until they are 4 or 5 years old, so be prepared for bumps, jumps and kisses from this guy!
Mack is an intelligent boy who learns quickly and is eager to please. He is housetrained and also great in the crate - both during the day, and to sleep at night. He is a little too interested in cats (he will chase them), so a home without felines would be best for him. He can be a sweet and gentle goof when he is not playing, but he is also a goofball at heart. He has lived with two very active children and decided that is not the life for him, so we are looking for an adult household for him, or one with children over 15 years old. He loves to play and would love to join you on a walk, hike, or jog. He is always ready for action but is also happy to chill with you and one of his toys as long as he has gotten his daily exercise. Group training classes will be great for Mack, as he still needs to perfect his inside manners, as well as continue his social skills with other dogs.
Mack is a playful happy boy who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make his dream come true? Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family!
Mack’s Story: He was found wandering a road in Mississippi and his owners were never found. He was rescued by a veterinary clinic and transported to New England where he was placed in a loving home. Unfortunately, the young children in the household and Mack were not a good match, so he is looking for a new forever home without young children.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
