Georgia is sweet girl!
She appears to be a Chihuahua mix who's full of energy and looking for her forever home. When meeting people for the first time she can be a little shy or standoffish and may bark, but she eventually warms up and her personality comes shining through! Once she gets to know you, she will be your best friend and give you lots of kisses.

Georgia loves playing with dogs of all sizes and has wrestled with a 50-pound dog, however she sometimes plays rough. As she is a shy and skittish girl, she would do best with older kids who can get to know her slowly. She has met her foster mom's 11-year old niece and while shy, did not act aggressive in any way. We don’t know how Georgia is around cats.

Potty training is in progress and she is doing pretty well using puppy pads. She apparently was never crate trained and this training will take some time and patience. We are thinking Georgia might do best in a household with a companion dog or an owner who is home a lot.

She appears to have a flea allergy and alopecia (hair loss) and thus consistent flea preventative measures will be needed. Please check with your vet if you should have any questions or concerns about this condition, and discuss any concerns you may have with your SOS Adoption Counselor.

Georgia is a sweet, energetic, happy girl who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make her dream come true? Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
