Ranger is a handsome little guy who can be a tad vocal, but he's only trying to tell you something, like it's time to play. Being a typical puppy, play is a priority so while leash training and crate training are being worked on, house training is still on his list of things to think about later. He's up for anything fun and would love an adopter who likes to be as active as he is. Attending puppy training classes is on his wish list 'cause...well...he heard it's a blast! He'd love a fenced yard if possible, but if not lots of daily walks and visits to the dog park to play - and a fursibling would be stellar! Cats and kids are fun if they don't mind his playfulness. Lots of toys along with puzzle toys and games would be oh-so-wonderful! Gotta keep that canine mind busy and sharp (your fav slippers will thank you)!

Ranger's Story: He was found hiding under a box in a landfill. Dogs are often dumped in this rural area and while on a rescue mission to save two other adults this sweet, tiny little puppy was found. Ranger is super sweet and affectionate and absolutely smitten now that he has pen mates at the shelter and can play since he's finished his vetting.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
