Bambi Lamby is an active girl who LOVES to play!
She's also sweet, smart, and a happy young lady. We are thinking she is a Pharaoh Hound and Terrier mix. The Pharaoh Hound is one of the oldest domesticated dog breeds in the world, and is estimated to have originated around 4000 to 3000 BC. The breed's exact origin is unknown, but one belief is it began in ancient Egypt.

Bambi was found very skinny, starving and had lost about half of her hair. Her skin had a spotted appearance and thus her name "Bambi." Since being rescued by a loving foster family she has put on weight and a proper diet has allowed for her hair to fully grow back. She loves to play with other dogs or with you! She also enjoys chilling with one of her toys or sitting on your lap. She is great around kids and seems to care less about cats. She is a quiet girl, but she may bark to get your attention. She is housetrained, crate trained, and does great on the leash. Oh yah - she also does great in the car, either tethered or in a crate – sounds like the perfect companion!

Bambi is a playful, affectionate, and happy girl who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make her dream come true? Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
