This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Jade Gem is small, but the first to bark! She's also the first to run and hide or try and convince you to pick her up. She and her sisters (and one brother) are The Absolute when it comes to adorable puppies! They're looking like a Dachshund mix with their short legs and longish bodies, and since they were born in a foster home, we know their exact birthdate - November 16th, 2019! Being typical puppies, they're still working on all those important "big dog" skills like where to potty, crates are great and leash walks are the bee's knees! They're sure hoping they get to attend puppy training classes with their new human(s), 'cause they just know it'll be lots of fun! Play is a priority for this bunch and toys of all kinds are on their wish list.
Jade is so beautiful with her more grayish brindle coat, white chest and four white feeties! She's fine with other dogs and playful with humans, big and little, but hasn't had the opportunity to meet any kitty cats yet. With her puppy energy and puppy penchant for chewing, lots of appropriate chew toys will help save your favorite slippers. Like her sister Ruby, she can be a bit timid in new places and situations, but she does love to cuddle and bark at the others. Is this sweet girl's face melting your heart? Gem Puppies' Story: Their mom, Mazzie,was pregnant when she was brought to our Arkansas rescue partner's shelter. The puppies were born in one of the foster homes.
