Winnie is a fun girl!
She is also affectionate, playful, and sometimes a little goofy. We are thinking this gorgeous girl is a Border Collie mix. She has lived most of her life in a shelter and hasn’t had a lot of training, but in case you don’t know, Border Collies are one of the smartest breeds, which mean you would have a blast with her in group training classes. She is a young dog with a lot of energy and little training so a potential adopter should be prepared to give her regular exercise, a structured routine, work with her on basic commands, work with her on socialization, and couple all of these things with lots of praise and treats.

She wants to be friends with everyone she meets! Winnie loves playing with other dogs and would likely love to have a doggie brother or sister, but could also likely excel as an only with getting all the attention herself. We don’t know if she is house trained and crate trained, but think she would pick up these skills quickly. She does pretty well on the leash, and needs some practice, so she would love to join you on a walk, hike, or run. We don’t yet know how she is with kids and cats. She is a pretty quiet girl but you might hear her bark when playing or to get your attention.
