Say "hola" to the Peso Pups!
These sweet, playful puppies have arrived and want to be your new best friend. We think these fluffy boys and one girl are a Heeler mix. Did you know Heelers are used in cattle herding and got their name from how they move reluctant cattle by nipping at their heels? The pups love playing with each other and other dogs at their foster’s home. They don’t live with kids but are playful and responsive to corrections with children volunteers who help care for them. We don’t yet know how they are around kitties. As with all puppies, they need work on house training and walking on a leash but have started crate training and so far, so good! They ride well in the car and they love chew toys. They're eager to please, toy and treat motivated little squirts, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun! The Peso pups are pretty quiet, but you might hear them bark when playing.

Peso Pups' story: Their mom was part of a stray dog pack and was rescued. She was taken to a foster home where she had these very cute, happy and healthy puppies.
