The Braves pups are major league!

These playful, smart, and very sweet pups are all named after players on the Atlanta Braves baseball team. The litter is all boys – Austin Riley, Dansby Swanson, Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies, and Ronald Acuna. We are thinking these superstar pups are a Labrador Retriever mix.

Ozzie and his brother Freddie are the party boys of the litter – during the photoshoot they were more interested in playing than sitting and having their picture taken!

The pups are just getting started on leash training and crate training and are doing really good. Potty training is next and we feel they will also do well since they are so smart.

They have only seen other dogs a few times but do appear playful and interested and we think they will do fine with dogs once they are a little older. They have been exposed to cats and are curious in a playful way. They have also been around kids and were playful and gentle. They love toys and are happy to chill with a toy when not playing with you!  The pups are pretty quiet but you might hear them bark to get your attention.

The Braves pups are eager to please, toy and treat motivated little squirts, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun!

Ozzie would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. Braves Pups’ story: The litter was found abandoned outside the gates of a loving shelter in a storage tub. They are now living in the same shelter and doing great!

We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
