These adorable puppies are sure to energize your life! The litter is two beautiful girls – Espresso and Mocha and one handsome boy – Machiatto. We aren’t sure of the breed of these little ones but are thinking a Border Collie or Heeler mix.

These are typical puppies with typical puppy behavior - like chewing on stuff, playing with each other, playing with toys, playing with people and just playing in general!

As the pups are so young, they haven’t started on potty, crate, or leash training but think they will pick up these skills quickly as they seem very intelligent. They are playful with other dogs and kids but they haven’t met cats yet. Their best friends are their foster family’s two school-age kids who they are gentle and playful with. They love toys especially ones they can chew on! So far, the pups are pretty quiet but you might hear them bark when playing or to get your attention.

All the Coffee pups are eager to please, toy and treat motivated little squirts, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun!

Machiatto would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. Coffee Pups’ story: Their mom (Java – also available on SOS) was found as a pregnant stray. She had her pups at an Animal Control and later taken in by a rescue organization and are now living with a loving foster family.

Medical Note: This dog was treated for demodectic mange while in the SOS program. The dog has responded well to this treatment. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (eg, transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months or until 18 months of age.
