Pugsley is a handsome boy!
He is also sweet, smart, and even-tempered. We are thinking Pugsley is a Pug and Shepherd mix around 1-year-old. He is a happy go lucky young boy who is ready for the next adventure. He is named after a character from the popular television series and films – The Addams Family.
He is playful with other dogs and is only mildly interested in cats. He loves all humans and is playful with kids he has met, but we don’t know if he has lived with children in a household. A potential adopter should be prepared to go slow with Pugsley, work on socialization and confidence building, give plenty of exercise, and provide training.
He was found as a stray and thus don’t know if he is house trained or crate trained but is an intelligent boy and we think he will pick up these important skills quickly with a confident and patient adopter. He tends to pull when walking on a leash and would love to join you on a walk or hike so he can get more practice!
A fenced yard would be ideal so Pugsley could run and play safely, but if that's not available he'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. An obedience course is a must with him; it will help teach him good manners and commands, further socialization with other dogs and people, and will help build that very important bond between a dog and his human.
Pugsley is a sweet and happy boy who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make his dream come true? Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family!
