Weight: ~ 8 lbs (as of 1/24/2021) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. The HappyDays pups are here to bring joy to your life!
These puppies are playful, even-tempered, and very affectionate! The litter is three adorable girls – Marion, Joanie, and Lori Beth and four handsome boys – Fonzie, Howard, Chachi, and Richie. We are thinking these cute babies are an Australian Shepherd and Carolina Dog mix. This litter is named after the classic tv show Happy Days that aired in the 1970s - 1980s. The pups love all people including the two teenagers that are living in their foster home. They are friendly and playful with each other but we don’t know how they are with new dogs, but given that they are so young we anticipate that they would get along with a new dog sibling well. Their current foster home has two cats and they seem interested and playful when they encounter them but we can't guarantee they will do well as they grow older with co-habitating cats. They love toys and are happy to chill with a squeaky ball or fun chew toy when not playing with you, and t
heir favorite play styles are wrestling or a fun round of chase.
The pups are pretty quiet but you might hear them bark when playing.
Though a fenced yard is an ideal place for your puppy to romp and play safely, if that's not an option then lots of daily leash walks and opportunities to play off leash is the next best thing.
Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience and socializing them with other dogs and people. A well-mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed most anywhere you take him/her.
As the pups are still so young, they haven’t yet started on potty training, crate training or leash training but think they will pick up these skills quickly as they seem very smart. All the HappyDays pups are eager to please, toy and treat motivated, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun!
